Anuj is a Deputy Director with Global Health Strategies and works on the RMNCH+A and Nutrition advocacy project in Uttar Pradesh. He hold a Master’s degree in Computer Application.
Anuj’s areas of expertise include planning, implementation, data management, GIS based mapping and software development for public health programs. Anuj has over 15 years of field experience, having worked with organizations such as WHO and UNICEF for polio eradication and PATH, where he supported the implementation of Japanese encephalitis (JE) campaigns, Measles campaigns and Routine Immunization programs. He has worked in demanding and challenging conditions in the field across states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Mahrashtra. Anuj has developed various software and tools as per the needs of various programs he has worked for. One of his significant achievements includes the development and implementation of a computerized name-based registry system of infants and pregnant women in Mumbai’s slums, mhealth for Delhi as well as a School health database for Delhi, Rajasthan and Mumbai. These softwares helped the government functionaries in tracking the health status of individual children.
