Archna Sharma is a Senior Program Associate at Global Health Strategies. Archna has worked with development organizations in the livelihood and public health sectors on a range of issues, such as fair trade, HIV/AIDS, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and clefts.
Prior to joining GHS, Archna worked with the International Planned Parenthood Federation (SouthAsia Regional Office), where she provided technical assistance to Member Associations in implementing projects on HIV/AIDS, family planning, and sexual and gender-based violence.
Previously, she worked with the International Resources for Fairer Trade where she conducted research and helped set up market linkages for fair trade products produced by agribusiness micro, small and medium enterprises in India. She has also worked with Operation Smile India, where she conducted cleft surgery missions in multiple geographic locations in India.
Archna completed her M.Sc. in Microbiology from Panjab University, Chandigarh and her M.A. in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
