Vikram Albrecht has an interest in finding solutions for global health issues such as noncommunicable diseases, epidemics and humanitarian disasters. At the George Washington University, he earned a B.A. in Geography and International Affairs with a concentration in Global Public Health. In addition to living in DC, Vikram spent a semester abroad studying comparative health systems and social welfare policy at Oxford University in the UK and the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica.
Vikram’s previous work background includes healthcare policy research on state-level reforms in India (Center for Strategic and International Studies), professionalism/leadership development (Elliott School of International Affairs), administrative operations (RKF Engineering), and conflict resolution communications (Search for Common Ground).
