Torsha is a law graduate with nearly five years of experience in public health and is passionate about promoting health equity and sustainability. She has a strong background in developing and implementing strategies using advocacy tools, strategic communications, and stakeholder management. She is currently leveraging this experience to support AIIMS New Delhi’s Cardio-Neuro Centre and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and its network of institutes.
Prior to this, she worked on improving accessibility and equity for COVID-19 testing, strengthening regulations to control environmental antimicrobial resistance, and making representations to the Government of India to ease the import of pharmaceutical products. Torsha has also previously served as a Legislative Assistant to a Member of Parliament, where she designed and supported parliamentary interventions. She has a law degree from Gujarat National Law University (GNLU).
