As a Senior Manager, Taonga supports projects across Africa on our vaccine manufacturing clients and our new work with the G20 in South Africa. Taonga is Johannesburg, South Africa based.
She is a multifaceted global health advocate with experience in health policy advocacy and coalition management. Taonga is joining GHS from PATH where she was an Advocacy and Policy Officer. In that role she designed and implemented advocacy strategies to advance policy goals in the areas of regulatory systems strengthening and health research and development in Africa. She focuses on policy landscaping, decision maker engagement, stakeholder analysis, communications, and project management.
She has experience in building and maintaining strategic partnerships with national and international stakeholders, including national regulatory authorities, national governments, regional economic communities, and regional agencies.
She is a confident and seasoned facilitator on global and regional platforms on a wide range of topics.
Taonga graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) and a post graduate diploma in Public and Development Management from the WITS School of Governance.
