Ruchey joined GHS in November of 2017, bringing over fifteen years of experience in finance and administration. Most recently, Ruchey was the Director of Sponsored Research for the New York Genome Center and the Director of Grants, Contracts and Compliance for the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI). At IAVI, Ruchey was responsible for the management of approximately $60M in annual grant revenue and led the development of new systems and processes to streamline financial and grants management operations.

Ruchey began her career in clinical research at Columbia University Medical Center, but quickly shifted to a more administrative role and ultimately became the Administrator for the Department of Neurological Surgery, where she managed the departments academic and research operations for several years.

Ruchey has a BA in Cognitive Science from Northwestern University and an MPH from Columbia University. In her free time, Ruchey enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and seeing live music.
