Reem is a global public health professional with experience working on immunization campaigns and chronic disease prevention and control. Her background lies mainly in health policy, communications, advocacy, governance and multi-sectoral partnerships.
With a focus on the MENA region, Reem has worked with for-profit healthcare, consultancy firms, UN institutions and NGOs in Mauritius and Lebanon.
Reem has a Master’s degree in Global Health and Development from University College of London and a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the American University of Beirut.
She is also a licensed clinical dietitian specialized in bariatric surgeries and sports nutrition with public health expertise in health promotion. Since joining GHS, Reem has been involved in facilitating events tackling public health and SDG-related topics, notably across Expo 2020 Dubai.
