Raman is a Senior Director at Global Health Strategies working on the tuberculosis and Grand Challenges projects. Before joining GHS, Raman completed his Masters in Magazine Journalism from Cardiff University, United Kingdom and a Diploma from the Asian College of Journalism, Chennai. As part of the course at Cardiff University, Raman did a dissertation on Child Malnutrition in India for which he traveled to a number of villages and cities in four states in India. During the Diploma at ACJ, he studied Development journalism and Child rights as elective courses.
Prior to his Masters, Raman worked as an intern at ESPNStar.com for four months in New Delhi. Raman holds a Bachelor’s in Journalism and Communication from the Manipal Institute of Communication, Manipal University, Karnataka. He interned for a month at Indian Express, New Delhi in 2011.
