Ouma Onyango is a Manager in the GHS Nairobi office. Prior to GHS, Ouma worked at local media stations in Nairobi where he handled wide range of broadcast duties including field reporting with a focus on health, developing story ideas, conducting interviews and coordinating schedules with production crews. Once there, he grew into the role of a co-opted news producer where he oversaw and managed the newsroom. At the same time, he also hosted a health program where he engaged with various health experts. Ouma has also interned and worked for various hospitals in Nairobi.  Ouma’s interest and passion lie in using communication as a tool to ensuring social and economic justice for emerging countries.

He graduated from Kenyatta University with an Honours B.Sc. degree in public health.
