With her diverse professional experience and educational background, Nicole brings a unique perspective to her work as a Communications and Advocacy Associate. She received a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, with an Inequality Studies focus, from UC Berkeley in 2021 where she found her passion for health equity and developed her writing while writing her thesis and pursuing a creative writing minor.

Inspired by Paul Farmer, Audre Lorde and her experiences teaching health education in underfunded high schools in the Bay Area, Nicole comes to the global health sector excited to use her skills to support GHS and their partners to drive forward global health initiatives. Outside of work, Nicole can be found enjoying a park, inside the gym, reading or volunteering with mental health organizations.
