Nandita Suneja is a journalist who switched over to the development sector. Having spent almost 12 years at India’s top news channel Times Now, Nandita has covered issues ranging from education, health, gender inequality to ultimately politics. She covered the Congress party and UPA government from 2008 to 2017. Having reported on politics and policy from different parts of the country and world, Nandita felt her heart still remained in development issues. At GHS, she hopes to serve as an agent of change in tuning Indian media towards health and other development issues – topics that sometimes fall off the radar of newsrooms. A Mathematics major from Delhi’s St Stephens College, Nandita is also a trained a yoga teacher.
