Mpinane joins as a Senior Manager and will support projects across Africa on our communications and advocacy clients including our Global Fund support to the South African Presidency and media training for the Gates Foundation.

Mpinane is a strategist and communicator with over a decade of experience leading multi-stakeholder engagement and communications across Africa and globally. She brings deep expertise in systems thinking, narrative strategy, journalism, and facilitation to her work at GHS.

Before joining GHS, Mpinane led large-scale projects in education, health, gender equity, and climate action, and drove regional communications strategy across four continents. She has also held leadership roles in media and publishing, developing award-winning content that drove engagement in the mining sector.

Mpinane holds a master’s degree in media practice for development and social change from the University of Sussex and a bachelor’s in media and international relations from the University of Cape Town. She is passionate about storytelling that bridges sectors and amplifies underrepresented voices.
