Meera is a public health professional with 5+ years of experience across public health operational and academic research, project management, health communications, and partnerships and business development.  She is supporting the ICMR and AIIMS teams.

She has worked in health equity, prevention, and global health. Her experience with partners and donors in South Asia spans thematic areas such as immunization, gender-based violence, climate and health, and mental health.

Meera has previously worked with CARE, JSI, and most recently with Vital Strategies, in their India offices.

She holds an MSc Public Health degree from the University of Bristol, and a BA (Hons.) in Social Work in Rural Development from TISS Tuljapur and has worked at the grassroots level and in strategy and management-oriented teams.
