Marieme is a Senior Manager in the West Africa office, based in Dakar, Senegal. She supports the rotating Chairs of the African Union and regional partners in advancing Africa’s priorities on the continental and global stage, with a focus on health, women’s economic power, economic resilience, climate adaptation, and digital public infrastructure. She works closely with governments, AU directorates, multilateral organizations, civil society, private sector leaders, and media partners to drive policy dialogue.
Marieme also leads a bilingual education project in Senegal that advocates for and supports strategic communications to increase public awareness, community buy-in, and national acceptance of bilingual education.
Prior to joining GHS, Marieme served as Marketing and Business Development Manager at Concree, where she managed partnerships with international organizations and NGOs. Marieme is bilingual in French and English. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University and an MBA from La Salle University.
