Mariana holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism, an MBA in Social Responsibility and Civil Society and is currently a master’s student in International Relations, dedicating her research to postcolonial studies in global health. She has dedicated her career to social impact communications, having advocated for key health issues in Latin America and Brazil such as childhood cancer, sexual and reproductive rights and against homicides of black youth. Mariana also has a technical degree in Meteorology, which provided her with environmental expertise and strong connections in areas such as weather and climate. She is a former employee of the National Institute of Space Research in Brazil, the Pan-American Health Organization and Amnesty International.
