Laura Kelleher joined GHS in October 2022. She covers communications for the mental health and substance use portfolio at the World Health Organization (WHO). At WHO, she has led the planning and delivery of campaigns including World Suicide Prevention Day and World Mental Health Day 2023.
Laura has over ten years policy and advocacy experience. Prior to GHS, Laura worked with Save the Children International, where she was advocacy adviser to the Chief Executive, advising on all external engagements and outreach, before joining Save the Children’s UN office in New York as senior advocacy adviser. Laura has also worked with a mental health charity in the UK and has previously held roles with the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and the European Council on Foreign Relations.
