Koketso Dlongolo is a Communications Specialist with a passion for advocacy, engaging men and boys to end gender-based violence, and advocacy centred on women and girls’ sexual and reproductive health. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Gender and Development from the University of Sussex in the UK and an Honours degree in Journalism from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. Before joining Global Health Strategies, Koketso worked for the United Nations Population Fund, focusing on their Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and HIV programming. She played an instrumental role in leading a communications strategy for the annual Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Day and coordinated a regional knowledge-sharing meeting focused on integrated SRH/HIV and GBV services. She also brings a wealth of experience as a former journalist and news broadcasting producer. She is currently a Manager out of our South Africa office and plays a key role in strategic communications efforts towards Emergency Preparedness and Response.
