Harshita is a sociologist with over three years of experience working at the intersection of public health, gender, and strategic communications. At GHS, she supports efforts to strengthen access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in India by driving advocacy and stakeholder engagement across campaigns and partnerships.
Before joining GHS, Harshita worked at Swasti’s Center for Strategic Communications for Public Health, where she led a team of young professionals in designing and executing communication projects focused on gender equity, health systems, and inclusive public health messaging.
Harshita holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree from Lady Shri Ram College for Women. Her approach is shaped by an intersectional, rights-based perspective and a strong belief in the power of inclusive storytelling to drive social change
