Fatima is a Senior Associate based in Dakar, Senegal, brings five years of experience in strategic reporting, stakeholder engagement, and public policy across development, migration, and governance sectors. Before joining GHS, she worked as a Reporting Officer at the United Nations’ International Organization for Migration (UN-IOM).She led multi-country campaigns across West and Central Africa.
She also contributed to governance and public health projects at USAID, supporting media engagement and stakeholder coordination.
Fatima holds an MSc in Human Rights & Politics from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a B.A. in Political Science from Howard University. Fluent in French, English, and Wolof, she is passionate about leveraging advocacy to drive impactful change in vulnerable communities, especially on women’s and children’s issues.
