Eliana is a Communications and Advocacy Associate interested in health policy, science communication, and reproductive justice. She holds a BA and an MPH from Brown University, where she concentrated in public health, human rights, and law. Her master’s thesis focused on maternal health policy and explored the impacts of punitive perinatal substance use policies on the patient-provider relationship.
Prior to joining GHS, Eliana served as a curriculum intern at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, where she worked on NERD Academy, the CDC’s open-source curriculum designed to teach public health concepts to middle and high schoolers. Her work at the CDC focused on integrating scientific literature in STEM classrooms and improving scientific literacy.
