David Rephun is Legal Counsel to Global Health Strategies. He has experience in diverse settings and has served as Assistant District Attorney under Brooklyn D. A. Charles J. Hynes and also as litigation attorney for Eviction Intervention Services advocating both in and out of court for NYC elderly and low income tenants.
David was an adjunct professor at Manhattan College where he taught English writing. He also has taught elementary and high school for the San Diego Unified School District and the New York City Board of Education and has taught both youth and adult students in parochial settings.
David’s health activism began in the Treatment and Data Committee in ACT UP and most recently, he has advocated for better availability of health services for senior and disabled populations at the Medicare Rights Center.
