Camilo Manchola-Castillo is Colombian and holds a Ph.D. in Bioethics. Also, he has been a post-doctoral fellow in Bioethics at the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics at the University of Brasilia (Brazil). He joined GHS as a Program Manager after working for more than 7 years as a Manager for Training at the Brazilian National Commission on Research Ethics (CONEP) and as a Technical Consultant at the Science and Technology Department of Brazil’s Ministry of Health. Camilo has also worked as a consultant for Unesco’s Regional Office for Sciences in Latin America and the Caribbean in areas related to bioethics and research ethics; as a professor, he has worked, for more than 10 years, nationally and internationally, teaching public health, bioethics and international relations.
