Ben Humphrey is a Senior Vice President at GHS, where he drives communications and advocacy initiatives on behalf of a range of international organizations. This includes awareness raising through earned, placed and paid media; coalition building through strategic advocacy and partnerships; and reputation management through proactive risk communications. Since joining the company in 2011, Ben has helped GHS clients build support for a variety of health and development priorities, including child health, global health R&D and infectious disease elimination.
Prior to joining GHS, Ben was a reporter covering government and economics for Agence-France Presse in Johannesburg, South Africa. Previously, he spent four years with Allegis Group Inc. tackling workforce management challenges for Fortune 500 companies in the healthcare, financial services and defense industries.
Ben holds a Master’s Degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, and a B.A. in Communications and English Literature from Wake Forest University.
