Ally has a passion for applying a systems approach to global health. She has a background in strategic communication and translational health research spanning across issue areas and geographies, from child health in the Peruvian Amazon (Elementos, Perú) to sexual and reproductive health in the Philippines (Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs). She is committed to integrating evidence and storytelling into health solutions to maximize and sustain social impact. Most recently, Ally served as a project manager at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she spearheaded development efforts to expand her research group’s work in global cancer care and prevention to the Dominican Republic, Tunisia, and South Africa.
Ally graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a MSPH in International Health and a BA in Public Health Studies and Psychology. Outside of work, she enjoys teaching yoga and taking long walks along the West Side Highway.
