Alika is a research and strategic communications professional at Global Health Strategies (GHS), working at the intersection of public health research, patient care, and scientific education. She collaborates closely with government stakeholders at leading national health research institutions to translate complex scientific evidence into clear, compelling narratives for policymakers, the scientific community, and the public. Her work spans research synthesis, policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications, with a focus on strengthening the visibility, credibility, and real-world relevance of evidence-based public health solutions.
Prior to joining GHS, Alika worked with the CXO’s office at The Aangan Trust, where she supported the establishment of the organisation’s policy advocacy and communications unit. She collaborated closely with state programme heads and regional teams to integrate child safety and protection into systems-level interventions.
Earlier in her career, she held assistantships with parliamentarians, lawyers, and academics, building a cross-sectoral understanding of India’s social impact and development ecosystem. She holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies and brings over three years of experience spanning research, policy engagement, and strategic communications.
