Rinu is an Associate at Global Health Strategies (GHS), specializing in health advocacy and global development. Her career includes an internship with the United Nations, where she contributed to health and wellness initiatives, a fellowship at the National Endowment for Democracy in Washington, DC, and a year-long fellowship at GHS working on advocacy projects.
With over six years of experience in public relations and communications, Rinu has led response strategies during public health emergencies and spearheaded youth-led digital campaigns during COVID-19. She has collaborated with international organizations such as WHO, UN, and Africa CDC to strengthen health systems and advocate for equitable healthcare solutions across Africa. At GHS, Rinu leads projects on gender, climate adaptation, and development finance, applying evidence-based approaches to tackle global health challenges, particularly in maternal and child health, and universal health coverage. Rinu is committed to advancing sustainable health policies and improving global public health systems through innovative, data-driven solutions. She holds a degree in Public Health (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) from USIU-Africa, and a diploma in Applied Science.
