Sophie is committed to advancing health equity, with a focus on the transformative power of nutrition. Sophie first gained hands-on global health experience as Clinic Manager at Floating Doctors, a medical nonprofit in rural Panama, where she managed logistics and patient care for underserved communities. She is interested in various issue areas, including food fortification, maternal and child health, diet-related non-communicable diseases, and the intersection of health, climate change, and global food systems.

Most recently, Sophie developed educational resources and marketing materials at Virtual Health Partners to expand nutrition support for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries across the U.S. She holds an M.S. in Nutrition Education from Columbia University and a B.A. in Honors International Development Studies from McGill University. Drawing on her background in public relations, global development, and nutrition, Sophie is dedicated to leveraging strategic communication to improve health outcomes worldwide.
