Hayder is a Medical Doctor from Baghdad, Iraq, with a background in health communication and advocacy. He studied at the University of Baghdad – Alkindy College of Medicine and held numerous leadership roles in the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA), focusing on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), and ultimately served as IFMSA-Iraq’s president.

Joining GHS in August 2022 Hayder is currently an Associate working on the development and execution of strategic communication plans for several accounts within the MENA team. His project portfolio spans AstraZeneca’s Communications and Corporate Affairs, the REACH Awards, the Lung Ambition Alliance and World Cup Health Campaigns communications, among others.

Hayder bridges medical expertise and strategic communication skills, showcasing proficiency in social media campaigning and content creation. His bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic simplifies complex health messaging for diverse audiences. His amalgamation of medical knowledge and advocacy equips him to effectively address critical health issues.
