Nouha holds a Ph.D. in media and communication. She started her career in 2008 as a journalist and PR manager before joining academia in 2013. Her interest in science journalism started with the emergence of COVID-19 by creating online content about the virus, reclaiming good health for all, and contesting climate change. She also founded the Arab Network of Science Journalism (May 2021) and the Science Journalism in MENA (2022) . In 2021, she joined the “Global Risk Journalism Hub” affiliated with Melbourne University. She was collaborating as an expert in Science Journalism with DW Academy. She is also the co-founder of the Arab Journalism Observatory and the citizen media “Madha Yahduth”?. Since joining GHS, Nouha has been involved in supporting events under the public health realm, mainly the CPHIA conference in Rwanda (2022), the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar and AHAIC 2023. She also participated in COP27 in Charm Cheikh (Egypt). She was also invited as a speaker at the International Conference of the World Federation of Science Journalism which took place in Colombia. In addition to her Communication background, Nouha holds a Master’s in Public Law.
