Gaurav Gupta is a Director at Global Health Strategies and is responsible for Operations and overseeing Finance and Administration of the India Office which supports multiple projects with various clients, he is responsible for guiding staff and planning new initiatives and change management.  He works with the F&A team to manage compliance matters relating to local regulations and procurement systems.  Prior to this he was the Sr. Manager – Finance and Accounts at John Snow India Private Limited, and was responsible for the entire financial operation including accounting, budgets, audits, internal controls etc.  His core area of expertise includes strengthening financial systems by introducing effective internal controls, recommending innovative tools to bring in efficient systems and developing reporting systems for decision-making and cost control.

Gaurav has over 14 years of experience in all aspects of budgeting, finance, accounting, and operations.  He has previously held senior financial management roles at International organizations like The Futures Group International, Jhpiego Corporation, and John Snow group. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and commerce graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. He possesses strong management skills with extensive knowledge of system automation processes, systems control, and specialized exposure in managing for-profit and not-for-profit entities.
