Joy is a Senior Associate who is passionate about solving health inequities through systems change and coalition building. She is a recent graduate of Georgetown University, where she earned her B.S. in Global Health with a minor in Theology. Joy has experience researching a variety of issues in global health and has developed interests in nutrition and food security, education, and migration.
During her time as an undergraduate, Joy was a strong advocate for equitable children’s healthcare, as she led the recruitment and advertising team for Georgetown’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon. Joy has previously served as a fellow for Georgetown’s Global Health Initiative researching early childhood development among migrants and refugees. Additionally, Joy holds internship experience in nutrition, health, and wellness communications working for Yumlish, as well as global nutrition and food systems policies, through her work with Results for Development (R4D).
