Frances Hocking graduated with honors from Tulane University in New Orleans with a BA in International Relations/Political Science and a BSM in Finance. As an undergraduate, Frances spent a year in France studying political science and international relations at Sciences Po. In Paris, she worked for an NGO focused on combatting child mortality in West Africa through mobile health monitoring and expanding access to community and national healthcare services. She also interned in the external relations department of the D.C. think-tank, The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where she helped develop communications strategies to disseminate high-level policy research on major international issues such as Brexit, cybersecurity, and US-North Korean relations. Frances also has public relations experience from interning at a major entertainment PR firm in Los Angeles, ID-PR. Most recently, Frances relocated to New York from San Francisco where she spent six months working in the tech industry at a blockchain startup.
