Akshay is a Program Associate at GHS working on the Grand Challenges and Tuberculosis (TB) projects.<\/p>\n
Prior to joining GHS, he was working as a Coordinator with The Rotary Foundation, which is the project implementing arm of Rotary International. He has also worked with the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) in the Affordable Health Technologies division and the Research Communications department. He worked on mHealth projects, particularly on implementation and business development of the NHM sanctioned all-in- one diagnostic tool, Swasthya Slate. Akshay was also responsible for driving and establishing research and CSR related partnerships while at PHFI.<\/p>\n
He has experience in drafting grant proposals, event management\/coordination, and external\/internal communication practices and also specializes in Digital Media Marketing. He also had a brief stint at Hindustan Times. Akshay followed up his Bachelor of Business Administration with a Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication.
