Srisha Singh joined GHS in February 2016 as a Program Associate. At GHS, she is working on Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, Adolescent Health and Nutrition (RMNCAH+N). She has received her Master in Community Medicine and Public Health from Lucknow University, India. She holds six years of experience in development sector and has extensively worked on issues of Child Health, Child Rights, Adolescent and Reproductive Health. She brings with her a wide range of skills and expertise in community engagement, advocacy, training, data management and monitoring.
Prior to joining GHS, Srisha worked with different implementing projects funded by Plan India UNICEF and Action Aid. In her previous assignments, she also facilitated the activation and uptake of government schemes in Uttar Pradesh like the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram, Rashtriya Kishore Swasthya Karyakram, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and Integrated Child Protection Scheme.
For her work on the issue of sex selective elimination of girls and the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act, Srisha received a Hindustan Times Woman 2015 Certificate of Appreciation.
She has a great passion to travel and explore the nature around the world.
