Shikha is a Manager at Global Health Strategies (GHS) and has worked on a range of public health issues. She is currently working on advocacy and communications around reproductive, maternal and child health and access to safe abortion and is responsible for managing stakeholder relationships, developing and implementing advocacy and communications strategies and organizing high level meetings. Some of the other issues she has worked on include cervical cancer, nutrition, antimicrobial resistance and injection safety. Prior to GHS, she worked with Hyderus Cyf, a communications consultancy working on health and policy, based in Wales; and the Naz Foundation, a New Delhi-based NGO working on HIV/AIDS and sexual health issues. At Naz Foundation, she worked as a Communications Officer to implement the Naz Peer Education programme, provide communications and research support and organize national level conferences and events.
Passionate about photography, Shikha is skilled at portrait and travel photography. She worked as a freelancer for several years taking on assignments to document health and social issues as well as celebrity portraits. Some of her other interests include traveling, trekking and deep sea diving.
