Sanjay is a manager at GHS and brings with him rich experience of working in the development sector for more than 14 years. Prior to joining GHS, he has worked as Programme Coordinator cum Lead, Essential Services- Health, Education and Social Justice at Oxfam India, Patna office. During his stint at Oxfam India, he was part of the team to develop roadmap for Community Based Maternal Death Review, member, sub-committees on MMR and Child Marriage under Mission Manav Vikas (Human Development), Government of Bihar. He has also worked at CRY, Mumbai as Senior Manager. He has supported the research fellowship unit of CRY, supported projects in Goa and Maharashtra. He has done his internship and research at Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), Delhi.  He has a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Anthropology from Hansraj College, University of Delhi and a Master in Philosophy Degree in Social Work.

Apart from his professional interests, Sanjay is a nature enthusiast and loves travelling and meeting new people.
