Ria Basu is a Program Associate working on the Editors’ Engagement Project and the Tuberculosis project at Global Health Strategies. She completed her Bachelors (Hons.) in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur University in Kolkata, her Masters (Hons.) in Arts and Aesthetics from Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi, and her PG Diploma in Television Journalism from Asian College of Journalism in Chennai. Ria has worked as a writer and copy editor for several publications, including The Times of India, The Asian Age, Time Out, Forbes India, and at the publishing house Rupa Publications. She also worked as a Team Supervisor for Louise Blouin Media. Apart from reading and writing, Ria loves travelling and cooking.
