As a manager at GHS India, Rahul works on the editors’ engagement project which focuses on engaging news editors across mainstream and online media to improve the health and development narrative in India. He oversees, contributes and supports on all project activities. He joined GHS in 2012, and has since led and worked on various advocacy & communications activities on a range of issues including cervical cancer prevention, school health scheme launch, polio-elimination, briefly on family planning and extensively on child health and immunization. He has supported the teams in developing and implementing communication strategies, including creating internal and external communication materials, with a special focus on stakeholder engagement.
With a background in commerce, Rahul has previously worked on media relations and planning, research for market strategy, brand building and business development. He is an ardent music lover and squanders a lot of time playing the guitar.
