Priyadarshini is a Senior Program Associate at the New Delhi office and works on issues including immunization, child and adolescent health and development. Coming from a media background, she has worked in both print and television media. She started her career freelancing at publications like The Telegraph and Times of India, following which she worked for Hindustan Times. From there on she moved to television journalism, working with CNN-IBN. She was a producer on a weekly news documentary show, that covered issues from politics to sports, conflict to crime, to health and conservation. The documentaries that she worked on have won News Television Awards, CMS Vatavaran and the Tiger Paw International Award. She has also worked with Star World, handling their programming, content and acquisition strategy. Priyadarshini is an English Honours graduate from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and a Masters in Journalism from Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Pune. Apart from her professional interests she is a travel enthusiast, enjoys running and is an experimental cook.
