Prachi is a Program Assistant working on the Family Planning project. She obtained her Masters in Social Work with a specialization in women-centered practice from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Following her under graduation from Delhi University, she was awarded the Gandhi Fellowship where she worked on strengthening instructional leadership in municipality schools of Mumbai. She also has experience in designing sexual health modules and felicitating training sessions for young adults. She comes with a comprehensive understanding of rights and development and has an experience in working with communities and government. Her core interest lies in advocating for women’s rights and she has a dissertation on female criminality in India.
She is a cinema and culture enthusiast and enjoys writing ethnographies originating from rural and tribal areas.
