Nisha holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and a master’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics of Health from University College London (UCL). Before coming to GHS, she worked in the Global Health Priorities research group at the University of Bergen, Norway, where she co-authored an upcoming textbook on medical ethics in low-income countries and conducted field research on bioethics in Ethiopia. Nisha also lived in India and Nepal for a year, where she worked with local NGOs to improve women’s health and combat human trafficking. During college, she co-founded MOBILIZE! Digital Libraries, a revolving digital library service that supplements traditional education methods in rural India.
