Emily is passionate about social and economic justice, fact checks and bringing out-of- the-box ideas to life.
At GHS, she helps manage strategic advocacy campaigns for universal health coverage and girls’ and women’s health and rights. She has led creative projects ranging from a documentary photo series on health inequity to a pop-up broadcast news station that reached virtual audiences in 146 countries.
Previously, Emily investigated the human stories and systemic shifts behind rising economic inequality and unemployment crises in the U.S. She implemented prevention programs for malaria and malnutrition in East Africa and advocated for Boston-area individuals seeking employment, housing and health services.
Emily graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a B.A. in Social Studies and minor in Global Health and Health Policy. After spending a formative year of her childhood wearing a sticker-clad eye patch, it was only a matter of time before she donned her school mascot suit and became office lip-sync coordinator.
