Bhanu Prabhakar brings together a combination of advocacy, public management and strategy consulting experience in public health and public policy. At GHS, he focuses on client work in the area of reproductive, maternal, new-born, child and adolescent health and nutrition (RMNCAH+N). He holds a Masters of Public Management (MPM) from the SDA Bocconi School of Management at Università Bocconi from where he graduated cum laude.
In the recent past, Bhanu has worked as a consultant with the Department of Public Health, Innovation and Intellectual Property at World Health Organization, Geneva. Prior to his stint as a consultant, he worked with the Office of the Assistant Director-General, Family, Women’s and Children’s Health, World Health Organization for six months as part of his graduate study experience.
Bhanu brings specialized skills-sets to GHS. He has substantial experience of developing reports, position papers and detailed strategies, as well as messaging documents and advocacy toolkits. He also has a keen interest in the work-streams related to health financing, innovation for health and access to medicines.
