As a Senior Associate, Susana provides project management and programmatic support to projects related to vaccine development and production, malaria and global health research. Susana holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from UNESP and a Master in Public Health from Boston University. She joined GHS bringing a strong background in advocacy and research acquired during her time as a Health Policy and Advocacy Intern at the Massachusetts Public Health Association (MPHA). Susana did outreach to state politicians and their staffers with the goal of acquiring support for several bills and amendments related to public health. Additionally, she conducted policy research to guide strategy development and decision-making around Accountable Care Organizations. Susana also has vast experience in laboratory settings having worked as a Pathotoxicology Research Assistant, Toxicology Consultant and Toxicology Clinical Analysis Research Assistant at the Sao Paulo State University (UNESP).
