Sikelelwa Geya Mdingi is a media professional with over 13 years of experience in television and content production, lecturing, and NGO communications. A former journalist, Siki has worked in some of South Africa’s top newsrooms like the South African Broadcasting Corporation and eNews Channel Africa, a leading 24-hour news channel. Her specialisation is in broadcast journalism with emphasis on human interest stories and South African politics.
Sikelelwa also spent two years with World Vision South Africa as an Advocacy Communications Specialist. Her work included communications for various advocacy projects, with special focus on the Child Health Now Campaign, advocating for child and maternal health. Her communications expertise includes internal and external communications, managing campaign communications, and stakeholder engagement.
As a Communications Consultant, Siki brings to the team experience in media engagement, an understanding of the South African political and governance landscapes, and a passion for human rights.
