Rohina is a Senior Programme Associate with the Market Access team assisting with policy research, budgetary analyses, and communication design for several public health issues such as health financing, immunization, tuberculosis, and neglected tropical diseases. She also worked on the COVID-19 communications team to develop key messages and infographics for rural audiences across India.
Prior to joining GHS, she worked with the UBC Sustainability Initiative, UBC Climate Hub, and the Wellbeing Design Lab focusing on youth and community engagement and advocacy-based programming. She brings her intersectional approach to understanding health, gender, climate change, and international development to her work at GHS. She holds a Bachelor’s in International Relations and Economics from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada. During her degree, she designed and led a seminar on South-South Development Cooperation focusing on how regional partnerships can be built to address Sustainable Development Goals.
