Rachel is a Communication & Advocacy Senior Associate at GHS with a passion for utilizing a social and economic justice framework to improve global health. In a previous role at AcademyHealth, her work focused on facilitating collaboration among diverse stakeholders including federal agencies, industry, and non-profit professionals, with an emphasis on community engagement. She also has experience leading advocacy campaigns on issues ranging from reproductive health to climate change to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rachel received a Masters of Public Health from George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, where she specialized in global health policy. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in public health at Davidson College. Outside of her work in global health, she has worked several years in the specialty coffee industry and is always in search of the perfect cup.
