Owen is a Junior Communications Associate from Ann Arbor, Michigan with a strong interest in international diplomacy and development. Owen graduated the University of Michigan in May 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in American Culture and a minor in Entrepreneurship. During his time on campus, he served on the Board of Directors of WCBN-FM Ann Arbor, the university’s student radio station, and was also on the Executive Board of WCBN-Sports, the station’s sports department. Additionally, he interned with Michigan Sports Properties as a property assistant, representing the university’s athletic department.
Owen’s passion for international politics and development led him to work for the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland, during the summer of 2023. While in Geneva, he assisted in organizing, advertising, and coordinating both the annual Walk the Talk Event and the 76th World Health Assembly, where he also ushered health ministers and diplomats.
Following graduation, Owen continued to pursue passion for politics by working on Joe Biden’s presidential campaign as an advance associate. Throughout the summer of 2024, he traveled across the country to organize and execute campaign and fundraising events for the First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden.
