Lucy Frucht is a Junior Associate at GHS, excited about advancing creative and ethical health advocacy and equity initiatives around the world. A recent graduate of Harvard College, Lucy concentrated in the History of Science with a focus on Medicine and Society, where she studied historical public health crises and developed a strong literacy in health and medicine. During her senior year, she conducted research on the intersection between AIDS activism and breast cancer awareness, investigating how the movements mutually inspired shifts in activist methodologies and the implications of their public advocacy. As an undergraduate, Lucy also worked as a content developer for a digital science education platform, conducted ovarian cancer drug research, and volunteered in healthcare and food assistance settings both in Cambridge and her native NYC. Lucy is especially passionate about maternal and child health, reproductive justice, and leveraging health communication systems and policy to achieve public health reforms.
