Lillian Greer joins GHS as a Junior Associate. She graduated with honors from Pitzer College with a major in Human Biology & Cross-Cultural Health and a minor in Spanish. Lillian has worked in the health sector and the non-profit world. When studying in Costa Rica, Lillian worked under the Costa Rican Ministry of Health. She assisted nurses and health care providers on a vaccination campaign targeting the flu and rubella. During her time with the Ministry of Health she worked on active prevention campaigns for the Zika virus and assisted a prenatal education course. Continuing her studies in public health, Lillian worked with La Coordinadora Juvenil por la Equidad de Género, a non-profit organization based in Quito, Ecuador. During her time in Quito with La Coordinadora Juvenil, she worked on improving access to reproductive health care and fighting for legalization of abortion. In 2017, Lillian worked for GMMB conducting research to identify innovative solutions for public and global health problems. In the summer of 2018, in response to the refugee crisis at the United States southern border, Lillian worked with the Catholic Charity of the Rio Grande Valley Humanitarian Respite Center. Lillian believes free, quality health care should be a right for all. In her free time, she enjoys painting, yoga, being outdoors and laughing with friends.
